I think Peoria has a new act in town. Firstly, the family who runs the establishment is so warm, welcoming, and eager to share their story. Their vision is to leverage their years of experience in the culinary world, their passion for giving back, and the historical "old Richards on Main" space to offer Peoria a tasting tour of the world. While it is a buffet right now, they want to expand into a tapas tasting menu, offering made-from-scratch food at lunch hour speed service. I met a friend of mine there on New Years Eve day for food & drinks. The food was lovely & fresh, & the drinks quenched my thirst, and came with some warm & friendly conversation with Juan & Ashley. I'd recommend this place, as it offers a hint of downtown Chicago right in the heart of our humble downtown Peoria. They took a chance on us, and I think it's only right that we all shared that courtesy. Mr. Luciano, I'm waiting for your review, sir.

So glad to have this establishment in downtown Peoria. The owners and staff are great. Very friendly, open and welcoming. We had the buffet and enjoyed everything. Great salads, wonderful vegetarian options, seafood, pork, and chicken. If not hungry enough for the full buffet they have a one plate option including a drink. There is also a menu with other options. I asked and they also do catering if anyone needs help with an event. Good hours for a dinner before an event at civic center. Nice place to go for lunch if at court.

Went there last night, place was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, the Greek salad was beautifully made. The underground location was very unique and I loved the renaissance paintings. The staff was very polite and welcoming and the food cane out really fast. Everything my table ordered was delicious.

Went on a Thursday night. For those from Peoria, this is in the old Jim's Bistro. Street parking, so bring some quarters for the meters. The buffet is $15ish after tax, they also have a menu should you want to order an item. My visit met my expectations but didn't exceed them. The staff was excellent. The food was good... but I wouldn't have called it fresh. Given that it was a slow Thursday I would guess most of the dishes had been sitting awhile. The beef steak was great and there was some fun Greek food to try. The fried fish I had was not that great. The salad bar was well stocked and the berries were a nice touch. The extra dessert sides (brownies, cake pops, cookies) were also an unexpected bonus. Overall a neat atmosphere, but I would probably recommend going on a weekend or lunch when things are busier and the food is being rotated through more frequently.
