We had a party of 30 come here last night and I wish I could rate 10 stars. They were quick, attentive and the food was delicious!! When the group got back to the hotel, we were still talking about how delicious the food was and quickly we were served. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely the best smoke house between Bloomington and Peoria. People are super friendly. Feels like you just sat down to the family table there. Prices are very affordable. Food is delicious and taste fresh! They have great signs to read all through the dining area. This will be one of our new go to restaurants!
I stopped in on a Saturday night and immediately got a table. From the first moment we arrived we were treated very hospitably. The service could not have been better, and the food was fabulous.
I've read other reviews mentioning "crock pot" etc., but this food is the real deal. I was a little saddened that they'd run out of potato salad, but the coleslaw was a great substitute.
I moved away 35 years ago, and during my visits since I hadn't been to Northwoods in over 10 years, but this place is a good reason to go back.
Great BBQ!!! Gotta get the ribs!! Its a nice little sit down restaurant in the Northwoods mall. The food is off the chain and for great prices too. The staff are very friendly and the vibe is chill. I will be back for sure!!!
I've been coming to this place since they opened in 2005. As for customer service, I felt like family the first time I met the owners, Mike and Michelle. The food is absolutely amazing and definitely more than just famous. Mike is a pit master of the purest form. Forget the chain restaurants with faces that change all the time. Come in for barbecue so good that you can practically hear angels singing 'Hallelujah' with each bite.
