Overall, a pleasant experience for brunch and great food. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was very tasty. I would say that the portions were rather large, perhaps even too large for certain dishes. Plating and space was an issue, my one meal (pancake combo) came on 3 plates. I'd still recommend this for a brunch option, it's a newer restaurant and needs to work out some minor kinks

Sweet Basil Cafe’ has a spectacular menu and delicious food. My twin sister and I went here yesterday. The fog didn’t stop us. We had steak and eggs. The steak was delicious and we didn’t even add steak sauce. Nice and tender. Great and friendly service. But all the food is delicious. They used to be in Streator, IL but have expanded there business. The Greek chicken dinner is delicious but don’t forget the Greek salad to go with it. I highly recommend this restaurant for their excellent food and fast friendly service. Enjoy!❤️

First visit to Sweet Basil. Breakfast lunch and dinner served all day. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Upon looking at the 5+ page menu we experienced a bit of "sticker shock" on pricing. Certainly have a variety to choose from. Portions were large and pancakes in lieu of toast are a meal by themselves. $53 for 3 people with tip. We normally spend about $25-30. Only negative I can give is the prices are too high in comparison to other dining establishments in the area. Seems to be more in line with Chicago suburb pricing.
