We loved it! If you’re looking for some unique tasty foods not offered anywhere else, then that’s a great reason to come to QoS. Also, we had great friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere is trendy and clean. We had the rissole and the southwest bowl. Can’t wait to try other food items.
Oh my goodness! I picked up lunch for myself and a friend. I waited in a beautiful lounge area while the kitchen went to quick work with my order. We both ordered the Sicilian Bowl. We wanted to see if this place was truly the “queen of squash”. Let me tell you not only was it fantastic, but the serving size was so generous! This spaghetti squash dish was done perfectly. I added some red pepper flakes for a bit of spice….because that’s who I am. My friend loved hers in it’s original state. Definitely will be back to try out dining in house. Thank you for living up to your name!
My wife and I really enjoyed our meal, and my wife is excited that there's another restaurant in the area she can enjoy (she's allergic to dairy and gluten). They had a live guitarist performing the night we were there which was fine, but they should consider some soft, noise cancelling paneling because it can get hard to hear when the sound bounces off all of the hard surfaces. Service was good and the online ordering system worked fine, although we appreciate them having actual paper menus at each table as well.
Had the pleasure of visiting The Queen of Squash for the first time yesterday, and oh my goodness! It had such a chill and welcoming vibe off the bat. Love the lounge-y area they have in the back! I wish I would have gotten the names of the wonderful employees who helped me as I told them it was my first visit. I asked what they recommended and the lovely gal behind the counter gave wonderful descriptions - as noted by who I assume was one of the cooks! I went with the Mediterranean Smash and it was INCREDIBLE! While it was a little pricey for just myself (but what isn't pricey these days), I'll definitely be dining in again in the near future!
This a seriously cool place! My wife has been begging me for a couple of weeks to try this place. Being that the menu looks like it has a lot of 'healthy' options, I didn't have it at the forefront of my options, but we decided to stop in today.
Being a man and needing to feel manly in a place that has veggies as a selling point, I had to order the burger. I'm the kind of guy who drinks black coffee and eats meat, so I have a reputatuon to uphold..... or something. ;)
My burger was incredible! Sure, it was probably made with healthy meat and stuff, but it was really good and I'll gladly come back and get it again.
My wife got one of the 'healthy' things and loved it. Our daughter got a kids burger and ate the whole thing.
This place has a cool, relaxed feel and also has live music. This would make an absolutely excellent place for a family night or a date night if you're trying to impress someone.
If you're a manly man, have no fear. It's honestly a great place and should rank up there with some of the treasures that makes Peoria a unique place.
