Amazing!! Awesome food great service. The staff is very welcoming! 1st time here very enjoyable!!
Nice, small-town bar and restaurant. The bar area is separated from the dining area side by a 3/4 wall. The bar area does have large TV's behind the bar.
The restaurant side has a small salad bar (lettuce, potato salad, cottage cheese, cole slaw, bean salad, pudding, and fruit). In the evenings there is also a soup or chili.
In addition to burgers, tacos, fries, etc, they also have steak sandwiches, fried chicken, pork chop dinner, and other items. We will frequently split the $13 pork chop dinner (two marinated chops, baked potato, Texas Toast), and then get an extra salad bar for about $7.50. They will spit the meal for you onto two plates. The burgers start at about $6.00. There are daily specials.
The owner and staff are friendly, the food good, and it is usually a pretty quiet atmosphere-- rarely you may get a loud person at the bar that may be heard over on the restaurant side. They have a couple large round tables for groups of about eight.
The restaurant is across the street from a small, riverfront city park and boat launch/dock. There are four other bar and grills located within a block and a half, and all have a friendly clientele: the area is safe and trouble-free.
I have the mushroom and Swiss burger in the salad bar. Was very good! My brother had cheeseburger and salad bar he said the ham and bean soup was awesome. My sister-in-law had the BBQ pulled pork she thought it was really good
