I've eaten there many times and I have never been disappointed, by the service and the food. Clean property. Family owned and your treated as friends.

My favorite restaurant in the Quad Cities. Best fried chicken in Illinois. Very friendly family run business. Always consistent. I've been going for years & never had a bad experience

Mulkeys really is an institution in the Quad Cities and it's great to see a family owned business stay family owned and run in this age of chain restaurants seemingly taking over the restaurant scene. That being said there are good chain restaurants and I have to say that much of the experience at Mulkeys seems to depend on who you get as a waitress. We were lucky tonight and we had a great and upbeat waitress who was friendly and efficient and seemed to genuinely want us to have a great meal. Her name was Andrea and she was everything you'd want a great server to be. We have had other waitresses here who were not so good but that happens everywhere. I'll also say that Mulkeys really does have the best chicken in the area. I'm also a fan of their coleslaw.

Great diner food and the prices are hard to beat. Breakfast served until 11:00. Eggs, French toast, biscuits and gravy, and omlets are some of the choices. A few of their lunch options are chicken, catfish, burgers, and salad. Staff is always friendly and attentive.

No waiting for table, waitress very polite, friendly and quick. Food was good except for the baked potatoes were cold. I just went there for their catfish anyway. So I was content! If you are looking for some good catfish or fried chicken you need to eat here!
