First time we visted, the food was very good the staff was nice. Im not sure of the older gentleman that sat at the register(owner?), he didnt smile at us nor speak to us. As we were finishing a lot more guest's came he greeted them with a smile and big hellos. But it seemed as if every single time he would walk past us he never smile and i for sure made eye contact with him several times. Everyone in my party were polite and nice to everyone we encountered. We just wont be back i really liked the food, just felt as if he didnt want us there.

This is a Breakfast, lunch and dinner diner. The breakfast they make is a serious plate of food. Made correctly. Sunny side eggs aren't runny at all. Sausage links have a snap to them. Hash browns done perfect.
They have bbq on menu too. I ordered burnt ends to go. Now I'm from the Chicago area. We don't have burnt ends here. We have rib tips. Meaty bits of cartilage that if done right are as good as a slab of ribs. The burnt ends I ordered seemed on the small side. They were tasty. Just a small portion. I probably would skip them next time. But I would definitely go back for breakfast or a sandwich. Nice folks running the joint.

I had an OMG! moment when I had the prime rib..thick cut large slab of aged beef.cooked to perfection. Very tender and juicy, the side dishes were oversize and delicious. Our server, the owners daughter took charge, we were very well managed and served.
I had been here a number of times for their exceptional bbq dishes, but that prime rib got my attention, that little diner is clean and wheelchair accessible. Thanks Smokey I'll be back.

We ate the chorizo skillet and it was delicious. The taco skillet was good as well. Friendly service and reasonable prices

Very small dinner. Friendly atmosphere. Been there twice. First time very good. Second time the waffle was not done. They did offer to make another.
