It was our first time there and it was great , food and service were fantastic will go back
This restaurant is so amazing! Everyone is so kind! The food is amazing and it doesn't break the bank! Definitely a returning customer
Breakfast is an all day option! I had the bbq macaroni which was good. My better half had the horseshoe which was excellent. Our waitress was super sweet & always had our drinks filled. Homemade desserts are mouthwatering!
Well now. Every now and then you run into an eatery that demands a review. Few they be and far between. Definition; clean, neat, orderly, positive ambience. Everyone, including customers, were down-home wonderful. We managed to get there before the noon rush when nearly every tradesman within twenty-five miles stops in for noon meal. We were there for breakfast and my wife had the biscuits and pulled pork gravy. Eggs on the side. I had the Open face pulled pork sandwich with brown gravy, mashed taters and a side of delicious fried taters just like I would have done them. Sis in law had a couple of eggs and bacon (crisp please). Bacon had a lot of meat, not unlike home cut bacon. My pulled pork was smoked delicious and I'm real picky. The mashed taters and the fried taters were out of the ball park great. No fatty pulled pork here but it wasn't dry like most lean pull pork is. The gravy was delicious also. Bred was bread. Coffee was very good and not Bucks strong. So if you are ever down in Southern Illinois, make this a stopping point for chow.
