We had attentive service during our visit. The waitress recommended the rigatoni and meatballs and we were both ordered the same. It came with a house salad and she bought in-house made Italian bread. The pasta was a delight and smothered in cheese. The meatballs were tender and not dry. I would have liked to have eaten it all but decided to save myself from overeating. If I found myself in Springfield again, I'd definitely go back!

Due to my vegan diet, there aren't many restaurants that offer vegan meals. I called before I arrived to check the menu and reserve a table for my family. They do serve several meals that are vegan, so I'm grateful and the food was very good. The service was good, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Downtown Springfield closes a bit early in my opinion but Satutos had longer hours which was convenient.

Excellent service, excellent drinks, quiet relaxing atmosphere, and my wife says the food is tops. I take the blame for ordering the fish dinner and not understanding that the main ingredients were bread and cheese and sauce. It was explained, but for some reason, I expected more than an ounce of fish. Lots and lots of cheese, tasty sauce, and a lettuce "salad." My bad again for expecting a real "Italian" salad with veggies instead of lettuce soaked in salty oily "Italian" dressing." So I'll absorb the three stars I would have knocked off and give this place five based on my wife's recommendation. Just don't get the fish!! Oh, and if you're not into pork, good luck. Meatballs, meat sauce, and all the other meat dishes except the steak are pork based. But it is a nice place...
