Great beer garden, good selection of spirits, would be nice if they and most of the tavern around town would carry a good quality selection of wines not the cheaper brands, i love craft beers and mixed drinks and love good quality red wine( cabernet ) a friend today asked what they had in a white wine she was not expressed took it anyway and did not finish it

Beer was cold, too late for food, they only serve food at lunch time. Bartender was very friendly and talkative. Nice change of pace from establishments that don't focus on their customers.

The Alamo is a decent place for drinks and bar style food. I was there for the 217 Burger Week entrant. It was good. Staff is nice, place looks clean, attracts a fairly mellow crowd and it's a fairly convenient location. Only thing I didn't care for was the live music and that we were literally sat at the table closest to stage and it was impossible to talk to my companions. The music wasn't bad just unexpected which was a bit of a bummer for us. Would go back but would definitely check their live music roster just to be safe.
