    Very nice, historic place to eat. I was invited to a Mother's Day meal, there was approximately 20 of us. The menu is large, the waitresses were above par. Food was excellent. I had the BBQ platter, BBQ sauce very good. One of my favorites was the fried portabello mushrooms. Some cool old pictures hanging on wall to look at too!

    Great food, small town service. We had dinner and, as always, the service was great. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious! Thanks Abe's! See you next trip back to Illinois.

    Drove from Decatur to try the smoked prime rib I kept hearing about. It was absolutely the best prime rib I have ever had. The sides and appetizers I tried were top notch as well. I have eaten at many five star restaurants throughout the Midwest and down south and this place will give any of them a run for their money. Great service, atmosphere, and excellent food. Will definitely be back and will be spreading the word. Thanks for a great experience.
