El Gordito

We always have dinner here when we visit family in the area. Its one of their favorite spots and now its ours too. Fast friendly service and always good food in a comfortable casual atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Sopapillas were really good. Great beer specials. Their small beer is 19 ounces. Decent Mexican food.

The service at this place was great. I had a Shredded chicken taco salad for the first time, so I can’t compare it, but it was good. I did think that it was not spicy at all. I like my food spicier, especially if it is Mexican, so I thought that was strange... Thats why it gets 4 stars instead of 5. ???? I loved the flavor of the salsa and the chips were good, we also had cheese dip and it was delicious.

Excellent first time experience! Was greeted and seated promptly. As we were taking our seat, chips and dip were already on the way. Our waitress was excellent; she was on top of everything. The food has excellent flavor. Seems more authentic than most Hispanic food joints.

It was my birthday on July 3rd and my first time visiting El Gordito! As soon as I walked in, I fell in love with the atmosphere. It’s dark and quiet, but not unwelcoming.
The service is genuine and polite, and the staff were on top of everything. My server Ana was wonderful. She had a pleasant demeanor and was clearly very experienced. Our food came out hot, fresh, and quickly. We came during a slow period, but I was still impressed because me and my sister ordered quite a bit of food. I’d recommend this place for anyone!
