What a fun place for lunch and a beer. I imagine evenings here are equally entertaining, but we stopped in for a burger and a beer. Not bad. The food was tasty and the the drinks cold. The restaurant is organized into three spaces, the bar with a couple of round tables by a line up of slots, an outdoor patio with quite a few tables, and a standard seating area in the back. The building an old brick construction and they have maintained that feeling throughout. Prices seemed to hover around $10 a plate and the service was what you'd expect (not slow-not fast) I'll definitely be back.
I've done Sunday Brunch a couple of times now, biking from O'Fallon to Lebanon. Nice outdoor seating. Great brunch choices. The hash is a meal on it's own. I've had the chicken and waffles and the lobster and asparagus omelette and both were satisfying.
Good value, not crowded and we were able to sit outside, watching our bikes while we ate.
Sorry, no photos as we had worked up an appetite after riding 15-16 miles to get there.
Their lemon blueberry cake is heaven on a plate. Stopped in for dinner with a large group of ladies before enjoying a show at Looking Glass Playhouse and the staff was prompt and attentive, the food was amazing and everyone's order was right. Definitely a hidden gem.
Goat cheese and spinach salad was really tasty, the strawberry vinaigrette actually tasted like strawberries and not syrup. The French dip was very flavorful and I didn't think the cheddar cheese work on it, but it did. Get the bread pudding, it's more pudding like than bread like, but super tasty.
