Awesome food and service as always...I love this family owned business...

Took some work colleagues. Truly authentic.
Recommend the greens and cabbage as sides. Relaxed vibe. Will Go back the next time in town.

Bbq Rib Tips are really good. Good bbq sauce and good smoke flavor. Tried the Gizzards which were also good. Fair amount of meat for the prices.
The Corn Bread Muffin needs a little work, kind of small, over-baked, and very dry.
The sides listed are not all avail everyday, said there's no set days for any of them, just whichever ones they decide. So prob just call and ask. Today we tried the Potato Salad and the Green Beans which were both good.
Friendly staff, answered all my many questions and was not upset when I called back to change our order.

We will def go back.
We did carry-out, haven't dined in yet but seemed nice and open. Bringing life back to a vacant building in the downtown area is always a positive!

Food is excellent! The staff is phenomenal and the atmosphere is awesome! I purchased the Big E sandwich and the rib tips. My son loves the bacon double cheese burger and fries. I have also tried the Chicago style polish which was good also. If you haven't tried this establishment, please do!
