This Is It Eatery

I'm in Freeport for work til July. This is by far the best restaurant I've found here. I only get the same thing as it is way too tasty to bother exploring other menu items. That would be their sirloin. Unbelievable! The lady who I assume is the owner/manager seems to always be there and is quite friendly. The wait staff has always been friendly, efficient and fast. I've not had a bad experience in the 4 or 5 times I've dined there recently. And I LOVE the mural of the two plump ladies eating. Someone complained in the reviews that it was in bad taste. I assume the reviewer doesn't think we fluffy ladies like to...eat? ;) A cute little place that I will be returning to as soon as I can.

Great food steaks were fantastic so was the salmon. Deserts were awesome. Waitresses were friendly and the owner was great. There were 8 of us and we all said we would go back in a heartbeat.

Locally owned, quaint atmosphere. Friendly staff. Oh and by the way the food is excellent. Great ribs, brisket is delicious my wife loves the pulled pork and they have excellent Friday night fish.

We were worried about finding a good place to eat for a Friday night supper in Freeport. We could hardly have been happier that we stopped here. They even had barbecue, which I thought was pretty good. They offer you more healthy sides like coleslaw and steamed vegetables. The girls had fish, and both said that it was exceptionally good. Even fancy sweet potato fries. The waitress, Kristy, was very efficient and friendly. Then at the end, the owner came around to our table and talked to us in a very friendly way. Was that ever a nice touch! This place has gotten a few very bad reviews, but that doesn't make sense at all to us. Our experience was all good. The actual menu is much more diverse and interesting than what you find on the Google Maps website.
