    Growing up this was a Treat living in Springfield my mom would travel for work so when ever she could bring La Gondola home it was awesome. Love the Sandwiches as well simply amazing.

    It is the best torpedos in central Illinois. Actually all of Illinois for that matter. I'm from out of state and always go out of the way to make sure that I eat here.

    Always love the food here. The staff at this location are friendly and they seem to be having fun in the store. This makes for a very pleasant experience even when getting take-out. The garlic bread is fantastic and getting one of their torpedo sandwiches on the garlic bread is even better. A great place to get good food at a great price. I highly recommend this place!

    I think maybe you have to be from Central IL to appreciate a sandwich like this with the weird sweet bread.

    I'm not. I don't get it. My boyfriend loves it. The meat was... odd. It wasn't terrible, but I would not choose to go there.
