(June 11, 2019, 3:43 pm)Miner breakfast, 3 eggs, choice of ham, bacon, & sausage and half plate of hash browns for $5. Need I say more? Good stuff . Oh yeah, there coffee is one of the best I ever tasted and only a dollar.

(May 17, 2019, 12:01 am)I love this place. I just do. It's quirks make it even better - Carla's attitude included. She reminds me of my grandmother, so I find it endearing. Best donuts in the area, hands down.

(May 11, 2019, 9:53 pm)Hole-e love if you love fresh donuts & cinnamon rolls go here. Its local with this grandma who serves you she reminds me of my grand. I want to try everything but I dont want to gain a million pounds. Everything I have had was delicious.

(May 8, 2019, 2:10 am)Who doesn’t love the big rooster in the parking lot? It’s ranked #7 in the top 7 things to do in Peoria and it’s not even in Peoria! Worth the drive across the bridge to take a look. Didn’t even get out of the car since I was laughing too hard. Thanks for the entertainment and the memories Carl’s Bakery.
