Jonah's Seafood House

We have not been here in quite a few years, but Jonah's was Fantastic! There breaded oysters were beyond oversized and my steak was tender and juicy. My husband had shrimp and said it was excellent. The whole reason we went is my son took me for Mother's day. I'm obsessed with there augratin potatoes. ????????????

We've been dining here for years and always had 5 star experience until tonight. Seated upstairs and it's a whole different thing. No attention to detail. Definitely not like the main dining area. We felt neglected. Not to mention my scallops were undercooked. Very disappointed .

Instead of seafood I had a baked chicken creation that had really good but just right spicy sauce. Before that I was served a spring salad that had 4 or 5 different leafy greens that were very fresh and blended together well. All in all a great experience except a dessert brownie I had was really inedible. I was surprised that it was either an afterthought to mix the brownie batter well OR it was wayyy overcooked to nearly the hard candy stage!

Atmosphere, service, food was all wonderful! Great menu and selection. I had the crusted salmon with mashed potatoes, a salad and key lime pie. The salmon is crusted with a sweet raisin sauce. Absolutely done to perfection.

I've been here many times on my travels to East Peoria and have never been disappointed. This last trip my coworkers and I got take out and it was just as good! The customer service received at the markets where I picked up the food Was outstanding. I recommend it if you're in the area you stop by for a nice dinner
