    One of our favorite places to eat. Food is hot when it comes out and good. My co-workers and I love to go here.

    Easy to find. Good food and service. Nice inside clean and decorated nicely.

    The food has always been delicious, and I've been there probably over 15+ times. The only downside is you might have to double clarify on what you want to your server or point to the pic. Again it's an authentic Mexican joint so I wouldn't expect them to be fluent in English

    I'm new to Peoria, and growing up in the south, our mexican food was flavorful! Normally when I travel, the food is bland and just basic. This place was not. It was everything I'd been craving and wanting for a long time. Great portions, nice staff, and clean tables and booths. To me, it was a hidden gem. However, to locals, a regular place I believe.

    You can NEVER go wrong at Lorena's. The place is always clean and the service super speedy. I don't know where you would go to find better salsa, not too mild and not too hot. Their food is always consistent, unlike many other Mexican restaurants around here. Can't recommend Lorena's enough.
