“I'm sad to read all the negative reviews....this is the one that we always order from. We have never had a bad pizza, and in fact, they are our favorite! All the staff is friendly, and very helpful and have gone above and beyond, to make sure that you are happy!! I definitely recommend this place...they are in need of delivery drivers, though. I wish I could remember the young man's name, whom I believe is a delivery driver, that took time to help me with figuring out how to get my free pizza ! He deserves kudos! “When we visited Taco John's, it was during a busy time (normal dinner time hours-around 7pm). We had great guest service, and our food was served hot. We got to keep our original order along with the free new one with good spinach. “I think better than Pizza Ranch if you compare buffets. Nice pizza, salad bar, and other warm foods to choose from. Fried chicken is excellent. You can also get mashed potatoes and gravy, (not my favorite), livers and gizzards, veggies and few sauces to choose from. I like making nachos with jalapeno cheese, or putting over potato wedges. Warm chocolate chip cookies top it off. They do have other dessert pizza also. Not a large buffet but if you go away hungry, it is your fault.”

“If you driven by and not stopped in because you thought this was an expensive and type of place you cannot go in jeans and a t shirt you are wrong. The prices are very reasonable. Pay just as much if not more for less quality at a fast food place. Relaxed atmosphere and local Pekin people own and run the restaurant. It can be a fine dining experience or just drop on for a buyer and beer place. I have tried many of their dishes and never been disappointed.”
