The absolute nicest people work here. The food is delicious and homemade (their waffle fries are heavenly). Desserts are all super delicious. Couldn't say enough nice things about this little diner.
Every small town has a place like this. A best kept secret with amazing food and low prices! The staff is so nice and attentive, and the chefs are making food with love.
Never a bad time!
The cook is amazing and a hard worker! The waitress seemed fairly new but she was ok. She vacuumed while there were multiple tables which was disrupting. Overall good food good price!
When it comes to visiting my hometown, there are just some places you have to go. This little dinner is one of my favorite places for breakfast! I love the atmosphere, the food is always done right, and the people are some of the best and kindest people! I say this because of how well they have taken care of my grandmother. They always have helped her and cared for her in her hardships during her battle with cancer. Oh! And the coffee is really good too! You will not be disappointed when you stop in!
Went the for lunch today. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was nice and tender with a very good taste. My husband had the fish dinner, and was not able to eat it all. He loves the breading on it. We also had an order of the fried mushrooms. They are the best around. They bread them themselves and they are not like the ones you get anywhere else. We also ended up taking desserts home. I love their rice pudding and my husband loves the strawberry shortcake. They are both homemade and so yummy. It's usually where we go to when we're on that side of the river.
