    Service here was basically non existent. Are waiter took our order. Brought our food. That was it. We ate and sit there for another 15 waiting on the check. Was getting up to go to check out with out check. Then he shows up. Food gets the 3 stars because it was good. And nice touch with the ranch dip. We are not from here so that was a first for us. Also clean restaurant and restrooms.

    The El Jalapeno serves great Mexican food! We celebrated Father's Day by eating lunch there yesterday. The restaurant isn't far from our home....that's nice too. Everyone needs to eat there!

    I visit this restaurant frequently, and I recommend it for all the people who like the Mexican food. The place is big and has three areas, and a bar. One of the areas is outside and it is great during summertime. The food is good and priceless, you can enjoy many plates for under $10. The staff is usually kind and fast. I don't have complaints about this restaurant, so if you are in Southern Illinois, near to Anna, you can enjoy a good Mexican food here.
