El Bernal Mexican Restaurant

Porfirio has been a good friend of mine for a few years now. When I heard, he was opening his own restaurant, I couldn’t wait to try it! The staff and service was top-notch, and not to mention the food was outstanding! Tons of flavors that you don’t get at other Mexican restaurants, the fresh taste of everything, and several different options that you don’t get elsewhere. Start to finish, especially the food/flavor went above and beyond my expectations. I can’t wait to go back for more

I was thrilled to see a local place offer al pastor (among other things, but that's my favorite). We had a great meal and will definitely be back soon and often. The food and service were great, not sure if the carnitas street tacos or the al pastor quesadilla was better but I'm definitely willing to order either again
Update- my wife and I have now been back several times and they continue to impress. Everything has been great, but in my opinion the best dishes have been the carnitas and the quesabirria

Great food! They offer all the usual standards as well as a couple of unique dishes.
So far they've been pretty busy, but the service is good and the food is great!
We finally have a good Mexican restaurant in Mt. Carmel.

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant because they offered items not available at other local Mexican restaurants, such as nopales, quesabirria, tortas, barbacoa, tripe, and al pastor options. My husband got the al pastor and carnitas street tacos and I got the quesadilla El Bernal al pastor. Everything was delicious, and you couldn't ask for better service. The owner and wait staff were all wonderful. We'll definitely be back soon and often.
