Family Square Restaurant

Wow! I had read reviews that stated the large portions and they weren't kidding. Family Square is a nice restaurant with a friendly staff. Coming in on a Monday night, you might expect the place to be slow or off. To the contrary, it was fairly well filled, with a seemingly regular flow of patrons. The menu is Greek diner typical full of choices, with several dinner specials inluding ones for Lent. I had the breaded pork loin with mashed potatoes. That along with a coffee, salad, soup (cream of spinach was my choice - excellent), rolls and your choice of dessert from the case was under $20. If you're in the neighborhood, take the word of a traveller, Family Square is the restaurant to stop at.

A great place to go when hungry! Large portions of home style food that comes out as ordered, warm, tastes great and inexpensive! Breakfast served all day, many daily specials, and a variety of items to choose from the menu. All the staff were friendly and attentive during my visit. Will be back again!

I enjoyed my Meat Lovers Omelet. When you are limited in diet and need protein this is the omelet for you. As far as family restaurants go, the food is good, pretty typical fare. When I'm out this way I will sometimes stop here with the family.

The omelets were really popular with everyone at my table. Everything is moderately priced. The only reason I'm not giving this place a 5 is due to seating issues. They use tables that are in close proximity to the booths so people are constantly bumping into you. Other than that it was a great breakfast location.

In addition to having really good food, they were very accommodating and were very quick to getting our food to us. Also, we're told that everything in their large menu is homemade, and the serving portions were very filling. We were very impressed.
