Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage

Great place for fast food. Employees frirndly, food fresh and hot. Taste is consistent.

This is my absolute FAVE place for hot dogs -- and chili cheese dogs in particular! (Try the CHILI--you will not be disappointed, my friend!)

Pop's is what a quick service restaurant should be -- clean, efficient, affordable, and damn tasty!

Why is it that everything I ever order here is so darn delicious?! Their gyros are greektown quality, their fries just taste clean, and their Italian beefs are the beat in the area.

Honestly, I know everyone around here goes to Portillos, but Pop's is way underrated!

Also, I totally appreciate that when you order a hot dog or other main dish -- the fries come free!!!! That's AWESOME!!!!

We used to go to the Pop's Italian Beef in Romeoville. After several trips where the food was not what we'd come to expect, we found another beef shop. For me, the main issue was that they had *really* odd ideas about gyro meat. Instead of long, thin, strips of meat, the meat was chopped up into tiny bite-size pieces. Trying to dip that was a pain, and it simply didn't taste right.

We liked the service and other food there though, so we were happy to try a new location when we came upon this one. That turned out to be a good choice! The service here is just as good, the food just as yummy, *and* they know how to cut gyro meat. It's a win all the way around! We'll definitely be back.
