Richardson's Bistro

This place is an absolute Gem! Great atmosphere combined with an owner that just loves to cook! The food was absolutely delicious and the smiles on everyone eating just told the story.

I'm so happy this place exists downtown, if only they were also open on Saturdays! I work downtown and it's hard to find food sometimes, no one delivers down here unless you do DoorDash or Dominos.

I've come here twice now for the burger and fries special on Thursday's after a coworker told me about it. The smash burger is really good and filling. The fries are good if you eat them right away. I tend to do carry out to eat in my office but the fries get soggy during that short travel time. You still can't beat a freshly made burger and fries for $7 and some change. I can't wait to try the Philly and the brisket at some point!

The line can get long during the lunch rush. If you don't have a lot of time, I would call ahead and order. Today I waited in line for 15-20 mins and then people who were ordering had another 20-30 min wait for food. I called ahead but I wish I walked over there immediately after, since I didn't know about the line. Hope these tips can help someone!

The owner is super friendly and I'm happy his business has a line out the door even if it is inconvenient for me :)

This staff and it's owner are incredible people. They love making food that people love! We just did a catering service and they crushed it out the park. They are always finding new ways to make new dishes and have fun! I will definitely be getting more food from here! Can't wait to see what's next!

Truly deserving of five stars. Check the place out just kitty corner from the Rialto Square Theater downtown joliet. On my visit I ordered a ham and turkey sandwich with cheddar cheese and swiss cheese yes fresh lettuce, fresh tomato, fresh pickle, fresh onion. Completely yummy! The food was fresh, fresh, fresh, in the vegetables on the sandwich we're all very flavorful. Well it and welcoming Bistro was clean the service was awesome and friendly. And you're not getting just a regular sandwich, if in fact that's what you order, you're getting the gourmet sandwich and french fries cooked perfection. Really worth checking out! bring some friends along you'll be glad that you did!

The food was very good but they sold out very fast. That is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star. I hope their supplies get better because when you see a couple of items on the menu and they say its sold out, it can be very disappointing. Best of Luck and I will return and hope to try more on the menu
