Syls Restaurant & Lounge

I would like to give 5 stars because the food and service was excellent! Only problem I had was there was another gathering going on in the same room that was very loud. The room was only separated by a partition. This the first time I've been here also. There were times when we couldn't here each other from one table to the next. We really enjoyed the beef and the chicken and the twice baked potato along with the mixed vegetables. I will definitely be back to explore that menu because I had no idea the food was that good.

This is my second trip to Syls. Both times were with my Dad since he gets a coupon for the place once a year on his birthday for $15 off. The first time, in 2017, I remember being underwhelmed with my meal, Dad the same. It took a long time to get our check and it was just a weird overall experience too because there were 2 guys eating at a table and talking so loud, in what seemed like a normally quiet restaurant. We thought we'd give it another try last week. We sat on the other side of the restaurant and it was really really nice. Beautiful atmosphere and bar. When it came to the food, my dad said the scallops were unmemorable and bland. I would say I ordered wrong and didn't enjoy my steak tenderloin over a mushroom sauce pasta. It was tough and didnt seem to go well together. Once our food came out we didn't see our waitress for a very long time, to the point we had to ask someone else that worked there to bring our check. Our waitress came back with the check, she was very friendly the whole time, so no complaints in that department. Unfortunately, I can't see a reason to come back.

Excellent service and excellent food and drinks! My first time here and I highly recommend this establishment! Very satisfied!
