Prices here are usually lower than the many neighboring stations, especially if you get the shell discount card. Service is OK in mornings with the experienced employees. Afternoons not so much! “Let's start with the salsa. I could practically drink this stuff. Their chips are crisp and perfectly salted to balance out with the slightly spicy and smoky salsa. I cannot stress enough how tasty this salsa is!(get some to go if you can) Their Red sauce and green sauce pair perfectly with any of the many delicious options whether it be a torta, taco, burrito or their breakfast options. If you live anywhere in illinois you need to come here. I tried nearly every taco offered on the menu and each one was distinctly delicious in its own way. On top of the Incredible food the service was fast and attentive! You could close your eyes and point randomly at the menu and I promise whatever you choose will tantalize your taste buds.”

“I love Pilot, they have rewards and extras for commercial truck drivers. Sumatra coffee is amazing and a huge reason I go there in lieu of other truck stop. This location though is pretty special. I was checking out and there was a man that needed help behind me which the cashier knew about. After paying, I started to walk away and the cashier paid the 2.00 that this man needed for whatever it was. Therefore a full 5 star review. It used to be people helping each other like this was a normal thing. Now not so much. However the gentleman working today continues the compassion and integrity of yesterday and I applaud him for that.”

“I came here during the biggest downfall of snow in 2019. The staff was busy in the kitchen cooking pizza and recommended the Mango Habenaro sauce for the jumbo wings I ordered. The wings were great and the staff quick to cook my order. I wish I had more time to try some of the other food but was in a hurry, the pizza smelled delicious.”
