Heroes West Sports Grill

Food was EXCELLENT! My server was really good and attentive. The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is because there were CLEARLY several tables available that could seat a party of 2 and was still filled the wait time would be 35-40 minutes. Also, we were sat right by the entrance, where it was too warm to keep a coat on but too cold (because of the opening door) to not have one on. I would have preferred a different table. Other than that..I would definitely come back and check it out. Several things on the menu caught my attention that I would like to try.

Food is very average. Maybe the beer makes it worthwhile, but I don't drink so I couldn't tell you. Eat in if possible because the food has been poor every time I've ordered out from there.

I failed to post a comment with my review when grading Heroes West. I have been there many many times including when it was Heroes and Legends on Jefferson St. and I will go there again in the future. I gave it three stars this time and I may be to harsh on this visit. I had the wings with buffalo sauce and I felt it was drenched in sauce and couldn’t enjoy the wings. It was extremely busy but didn’t have to wait too long for table but we got seated near the bar and the atmosphere was very loud (not Heroes West fault) and couldn’t have a conversation with my wife. On my next visit I will try a different entree and sit away from bar, I’m sure I will have a great experience again.

They were out of rib tips (Superbowl Sunday). I went with the pulled pork and was not disappointed. The waitress was very friendly and professional. She checked several times during the meal that everything was fine. My friend and I are not sports people, but we could tell that others were enjoying the game on all of the many monitors around the room. The food is good, prices are reasonable and the huge selection of beer is a bonus.
