FORNO Wood Fired Pizza

Ever been to Naples, Italy? This pizza will transport you there. Chef Anthony creates an experience like no other. We are foodies and restaurants like this are hard to come by in Joliet. It is packed every night for a reason. The food was beyond compare. You could smell the yeast walking in the door. I would like to name the person on the waitstaff who attended to us but honestly there were so many. We had at least five different staff members stop by to make sure we were satisfied with the food, drinks, and experience. ZERO COMPLAINTS. The prices are ridiculously reasonable. Treat yourself!

This place is great! My friends and myself came for a friends birthday and the vibe was AMAZING. The meatballs are to die for FYI! The staff was kind and very friendly. The manager him self was just perfect. I will be visiting soon

Authentic Italian pizza “Period”. This place blew me away. The freshness is incredible. Owner explained how his family built the oven. I think he actually said in Italy. This isn’t your regular Friday nite pizza place. It’s one you bring friends to experience true pizza. The lady server was great. She explained everything and drinks never got low before she brought a refill. Management worked the tables asking and assuring food was to our liking. This is not a big place. But the bar is nice and serves food also. My family totally enjoyed everything.

100% exceeded my expectations when coming to this new restaurant! Not only did the GM openly greet every customer that walked, but my server was already at the table within 30 seconds of sitting down and greeting us. My pizza was brought to the table within 10 minutes of ordering and looked amazing. All of the ingredients are fresh which made the overall meal excellent. I will be going back to this restaurant and recommending it to all of my friends!

I usually wait till my 3rd visit before writing a review, not this time. First and most important is the staff. They are a wonderful group of people. So friendly and helpful. The pizza was really good. Cooked to perfection. We also tried the churros for dessert. They are good and you could easily order them with a beer and call it a meal. The wine selection is good but the beer wasn't available yet so I will need to return for that review. The atmosphere is modern and inviting. It's going to make a great local hangout. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Will update my review when they are fully opened.
