Bar Louie - Naperville

Good size portions, got 2 steak frites. Went during happy hour and to my surprise there were no drink specials available only some discounted food. Shocking, though it was a bar. Steak and garlic aioli was nice but won’t go back unless they have a better drink special than martini Monday

I have driven past this area, but never been. Definitely a great place for a night out.

When you walk into BL you are heated by the hostess. To your left you have the main dining area and to the right you have the bar with extra seating and the bathrooms behind.

We were seated in the main dining hall and Courtney greeted us with water and took our drink orders.

The Diva was brought to the table and looked delicious!!

We ordered our appetizers- the Fried Cheese Curds with a ranch and their spicy tomatoes sauce. The sauces were great! It was a great hint of spice and very delicious with the cheese curds.
Next we had the fried pickles with ranch - very good!
We added the chicken quesadilla. The flavor was great and the avocado cream added a delicious take on it. I would have ate more of it was all white meat, but for those that like a mixture, this is a heat option.

For dinner we shared 2 of their new main plates - the Monterey Chicken and the Steak Frites.

The flavors of the Monterey Chicken Lemon Herb Sauce was creamy and delicious!

The steak was grilled nicely and the truffle aioli was a great add to this dish!

10/10 would go back and order everything, but the quesadilla (only cause it was not all white meat, but was good!)

So happy they opened up in this new location. Food was delicious. Hot fresh. The wings, fried pickles, salmon sliders and cheese steak sandwich were all very delicious. Our server Evette was very attentive, accommodating and friendly. Go check it out!

Came during the opening week and there was an awesome buzz to the restaurant. Food was executed really well. The calamari we ordered was crispy yet light. The most pleasant surprise were their burgers. Very juicy (especially the gastropub burger which had shaved sirloin on it) and generous in portion size. Jason and his staff were super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back.

Went the first day it opened, great food and service. The bar setup is great with the garage doors opening to the patios.
