Dave’s Hot Chicken

Really really good! I usually go to Fry the coop in Oak lawn for a good chicken sandwich, but this just opened up like 20min. Away from where I live and had to try it out. And no regrets here. Chicken sandwich is so good. And fries are delicious as well. I'm a fry person and loved their crispy fries with a bit of seasoning on them. You get 2 sandwiches for like $13 with fries which that is super cheap for some good chicken sandwiches. We got the HOT and it had a little kick to it. I want to try to next heat level since i love spicy food. Coleslaw is not over powering which I like. They put just enough so it doesn't take over the whole sandwich. But yes, worth the money. Definitely going again soon.

Great food! It may be a little pricey but the quality makes it worth it. I did however receive a wrong order (ordered the combo with one tender + one slider) and got two tenders. Not a big deal because the food was still great. Only recommendation I would give is to get better straws for the milkshakes, very skinny straw and hard to get much up it.

Dave’s Hot Chicken does not disappoint! The food is on point and the staff is friendly and helpful in guiding you on your selections. The chicken is so good - tender, juicy and flavorful. The kale slaw on the slider is the perfect combo - luckily you can get it as a side because it’s so good. And the sauce…not only is it good on the chicken but perfect for dipping yours fries. All in all, great experience and highly recommend! Oh and don’t forget to get a milkshake!!! Will definitely be returning there soon!

Came on their soft opening day and there was a long line but it moved pretty quickly. The customer service is great and super friendly. Found my new favorite chicken spot! I got the #3 combo. The flavor of the chicken is amazing and love the seasoning on the fries. Definitely plan on coming back!

Visited on their opening day. Waited in line for a few moments and was given a free bag for waiting. The wait was worth it. The chicken was good with a nice crunch to it. I ordered hot, extra hot and reaper. The reaper was good and spicy. The sliders are good but could have used more Cole slaw. Fries were nice and hot and crunchy. Overall a good experience and will be returning for more Dave's hot chicken.
