The Hope and Anchor English Pub

The atmosphere, the food ,and the employees were fantastic. The portions were good for the price. It was our first time here and honestly the downside was my fault for not asking how much the beer I was drinking cost. Next time I'll have water and drink beer at home. Other than that it was fantastic !!!!

A local English pub with a nice patio. Good atmosphere. Excellent food. Try the deepfried bacon, it’s breaded and delicious.

If your looking for a meal the food is terrific and if your looking for a place to sit and drink with friends the bar area is unlike anything in the area. Lots of wood, even on the low ceilings. It's very inviting and you can actually have a conversation without yelling over all the noise ala old Chicago. Would have made a great cigar bar were that sort of thing still in existence.

I liked it. We were seated in the back dining area. I didn't like it. The front dining area is quaint and cozy complete with a fireplace. The back dining area is too big and the tables are too close together. The food was good. The drinks were good. Great atmosphere. The service was good. If you like cozy dark lit atmosphere then this is the place for you.

Great food, great ambiance, great service, a place you have to visit. The fish fry is amazing, the burgers are great and the drink menu is worth it. We go back all the time for the food and a drink called a Paul. Its amazing!
