I’ve been there several times, (mostly at the Alpine location.)
Today I’ll be going to the College Ave. location and I’m sure that I will find the food and owner as pleasant as always!

I made a rather futile attempt to purchase a single biscuit. A congenial young woman proclaimed that they didn't have any biscuits. I truly could not believe my ears yet I somehow managed to comprehend the answer as it was explained to me with a very kind voice. I wanted it to go was my soft retort and slowly raced out the door. I will be back because I have an inclination to consume sustinance during business hours. If the food tastes as good as the pictures appear I might enjoy this beautiful establishment.

Home cooking like my mom made back when food was awesome and fresh!! Crispy 3pc chicken with a light tasty crust awesome!! Fried green tomatoes the best!! Corn bread sweet and tasty cooked on the flat top like a pan cake, yummy with real butter. Huge portions, we did the 2 dinners for 25$. Husband did the cat fish fillets, they were big and fried perfectly. Kids chicken strips were huge, had crispy edges with tender, juicy breast meat. Mac and cheese was topped with a layer of cheese on top and chunks mixed in. Restaurant is very clean. LaCresia came over and asked how our food was. She is kind and gracious. We will be back for dine in and carry out!

I love this place! From the food tasting amazing to the superb heart of LaCreasia the owner and the answered prayer that she and this business is to the neighborhood and community. A warm spot with a warm heart that brings soulful home cooking to the restaurant arena! Your taste buds will be real happy that you came!
