Excellent food and fantastic service. Huge kudos to our waitress Jessica and Manuel who kept our coffee hot ice water. Clean, friendly atmosphere! Smiles from all present employees and patrons eating.I highly recommend this restaurant! Check it out you won't be disappointed, if you are tell your waitress/waiter and they will make it right.

My wife and I were looking for a good breakfast place and when we found Johnny Pancakes ????, we loved it. Now this is our main spot for breakfast and we go at least 2 times a week.

This restaurant offers what I believe to be the best breakfast food in the Rockford area. The staff here are very friendly, and the service is always good. Generally, they are quite busy, but that is understandable, as their food is so good. I always get the Southerner, as it has meat, eggs, and biscuits and gravy, all of which are delicious at this place. And what's more, is that it is so reasonably priced. All-in-all, Johnny Pamcakes is a very good local breakfast place with some really good options on their menu.

This is great place to pick up breakfast. If you're looking for atmosphere ... this isn't the place. It an old Hardee's building that's been remodeled into a not too appealing diner/restaurant. If you want a great tasting breakfast with a fairly broad menu and great food--this is the place. It's THE best breakfast spot in Northern Illinois! The bacon is always done perfectly. Best Swedish pancakes in Rockford ... accept for the one's my friend makes with her grandma's (who came over from Sweden) recipe. Excellent eggs and my son loves their biscuits & gravy. I've never had a bad breakfast and I've eaten there dozens of times. Prices seem fair.
