    Margaritas were weak, food was fine. Not an awful place but there are definitely better options.

    Food was excellent! 1st time there. Was visiting from Ohio and the service was amazing and waitress was great and friendly as well.

    Always great authentic, reasonably priced dishes. And Miguel on guitar always make for a great dining experience. Highly recommended!

    The three of us in our family tried Dos Reales in January 2019 after moving to Rockford. Mexican food is our favorite. Dos Reales is now our biweekly go to when eating out. We’ve tried one other Mexican restaurant near Rockford and the food here beats anything we’ve tasted - hands down. We order the guacamole, various burritos, enchiladas and refried beans. The portions are large. The salsa is good. The margaritas are big and the best I’ve had. The service we get is amazing and owner Jose and waitresses now recognize us when we come in. We highly recommend this restaurant.
