Overall this is a great addition to the Rockford area. Nice, clean, enormous rooms with amenities like a mini fridge, 2 TV's and coffee maker.
The Top bar and restaurant is a great place for a drink and bite to eat with an amazing view but prepare for a wait.
The downside is that parking is close but didn't feel safe. This hotel isn't on the best side of town and there was a group of teens who weren't guests partying in the parking lot next to the hotel. After the incident that occurred the previous night I would think that either a security guard or police presence would be more heavily enforced.
The elevators at night smelled of marijuana so heavily that I would think that people were smoking in the elevator. The fact that anyone can go to any floor without a key card is also concerning.

Nice hotel, brand new with beautiful room. However, service was disaster and room not well cleaned. They just open so maybe they need some time before performing.

The Tower restaurant was delicious! The environment was beautiful and the staff was friendly! I enjoyed drinks and apps with a friend and will definitely be going back for a full meal and dessert!
