“Took me 3 years to come check this restaurant out. I don’t know what took me so long. But it’s one of the BEST Italian Restaurants hands down! The complimentary bread they give you it out of this world!!! We also had the mussels, clam, squid appetizer with a tomato garlic broth/sauce and my husband and I were licking the bowl it came in! and I am also a big fan of cracker thin pizza- well they nailed it!! Best pizzas ever!!! I can’t wait to go back again and try more of their food!!”

“This was my first time eating at this location. We were told this place had the best pizza around and so we decided to check it out. It has a very cozy interior, perfect place to grab a few beers and order a pie. The menu was pretty full of items that were not terribly expensive. I ordered the arugula salad with goat cheese as well as a spinach and mushroom pizza. Between that and a glass of beer my ticket was only $27 bucks. Both food items were out of this world. The staff was very friendly and quick to take our orders. The food arrived quickly and everything was extremely fresh and very tasty. Other people in our group ordered different food items and no one was disappointed in any way. The outside is very clean and overall a safe location to come with your family or on a date night. I truly enjoyed dining here and will return in the future when I am in the area. I highly recommend it to everyone.”

It looks like they have a great selection of all Hispanic products as well and a currency exchange. “Rockford is Known for it's Awesome Italian Food! CAPRI is a Family Owned Business in the Downtown District of Rockford and has THE BEST PIZZA still around. The kid's Love to watch the Pizza's being made and put in the oven...So do I;) Stop in and I Promise you won't be disappointed!! Best pizza in town, maybe the world - I don't know, haven't tried them all yet - but it is my favorite so far, by far. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken is excellent too. “Good place, but not one I'd necessarily return to on purpose. Had a fine time here. It was rather loud at dinner time and the atmosphere is dark brown wood. If the place is full, you will not be using your inside voice. However, after a beer or four, you probably won't notice or care. We ordered the cheese and sausage platter, a Carlyle brat and meatball sandwich. I don't think there is a grill here as nothing had char lines on it, although the brat was tasty. Almost had a hot dog like quality without the thick skin (which is how i prefer it). The meatballs looked like they probably came from a bag, but they were also good. I felt it just fell short of a four star rating, but depending on the time you go and if you are just in for beers vs food, I would recommend it differently. Great beer selection here and we got one of each in 5 oz glasses. Many great tasting beers at $1.75 per glass. A fun way to taste everything they have to offer at the time, as the beer menu changes with what they have on tap.”

“Great seafood in the heart of Rockford. Had the clam chowder which needed a little flavor, but the consistency was right on. Had the cod and they weren't kidding about it being buttery. Adding the lemon butter sauce was out of this world. Light and flaky and just right for me. My wife had the salmon and it was also phenomenal. I would recommend highly, but I'm going to pass on the chowder next time. Great selection of drinks as well.”
