Excellent place, especially for Decatur!
The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fun. The prices seemed pretty reasonable. Proportions were large! Service was kind and quick!
Tiny bathrooms...that could be awkward if you're in an emergency.
Definitely worth it!

Great atmosphere and BBQ. Had the 3 meat and 2 sides platter and it was a lot of food! Priced very reasonably at around $17. If I were to order the same amount of BBQ at this Indianapolis BBQ joint, it would be well over $30! All around great restaurant, especially for a small town.

When it comes to BBQ this is the quality you are looking for. The pulled pork is great and juicy. The brisket falls apart and comes in succulent big slices. You can't go wrong with the Smoked Wings in spicy bourbon sauce. The sauce is just hot enough to let you know the heat is there and it pairs wonderfully with the smokey flavour from the wings. I can't recommend this place enough .Try it for yourself and see how great it is .

We had ribs and pulled pork and both were very tasty. Two sauces were available at table, both enhanced the flavor of the tender meat. Loved the greens! Don't know if they are prepared in house, but lots of "body" with good seasoning. Baked beans enjoyable but not "barbequey" in flavor. Mac and cheese standard issue. The picnic table seating goes well with the BBQ decor, but not particularly comfortable for folks over 40. Really enjoyed the espresso cream ale on tap this night. Sounds weird, I know, but had a slight coffee start and then smooth "beery" finish. We all tasted it at our table and all were surprised to like it. Friendly, fast service, moderately priced. We'll be back.

Honestly, I've had better barbecue but not in Indiana yet. It was really good, so I'm definitely not complaining. I like brisket but love prime rib and there is a place in Albuquerque, New Mexico called Rudy's. That was sheer heaven. If I hadn't had that before, I would have given this 5 stars. But service is absolutely fabulous and decor is pleasant. Plus, it's in Decatur... All the better. Love the local businesses.
