The Woodhouse

This was okay for a small town restaurant. Nothing fancy, basic food. I had the baby back ribs an they were just a bit tough but the sauce made up for it. The sauce was really tangy and good. The wife had a steak and baked potato and add she put it, it was "okay".

If I were down that way again and I was hungry I'd probably stop by again.

I’m so glad this opened !! Living in this little town with not much to do it has been very nice for our community. The staff is always friendly and the facility is always clean. We order takeout a lot from here and they always have our order right. Never missing anything. We have tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all delicious! Large portions too for the price. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience at the Woodhouse! We had the fish and chips, and they were delicious with a perfect beer batter. The fries were a generous portion and fried to perfection. The young man who was our server was wonderful and attentive. The restaurant has been gutted and redone beautifully. There is a lot of seating, but we didn't feel cramped. We have just found our new favorite restaurant- in our own community!

Such great food! We had the chance to meet the owner Elmer. He gave us a brief history of his family and some very interesting facts. We also were able to go on a carriage ride through Grabill with Elmer and his horse Shelly. If you are looking for some great steak and seafood without the drive to Fort Wayne, I highly recommend The Woodhouse!

This completely updated restaurant was opened today. It is clean and comfortable. The food is great and the portions are just right. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Prices are reasonable. My mom and I enjoyed our experience.
