Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken Stellhorn

Prices are up and size of chicken pieces is down. Disappointing since they have always been the best place in Fort Wayne for chicken. Waited in the drive thru for a crazy amount of time and then sat at the window after paying for about 4 minutes. Need to work on their efficiency for sure.

Extremely nice people, good food and clean restaurant. Restaurant parking lot is convenient to get in and out of. Good value for the price

This was our first visit to Lee's, and we used the drive-thru. This place totally crushed the fried chicken game. Amazing! Even the white meat was still juicy and tender after taking it home, and the breading was still crispy. Best baked beans I've had at a fried chicken place. Good gravy.

Man. I only gave 3 stars because we've been going here for so long.
I hate giving negative reviews, but it is warranted this time.
I placed my order in the drivethru.
Then waited 10 minutes in line, (only 1 car ahead of me.) Only to be told AT THE CASH WINDOW that my spicy chicken hadn't been dropped for cooking yet. Cashier asked if I'd be okay with a 5 minute wait, which, yeah. Totally fine. Give me all the fresh chicken. (????)
But then she rolled her eyes when I said I'd wait. After I pulled to the front, I waited 15 MORE minutes (after the cashier said a *5 minute wait*). For 5 chicken tenders.
I understand dinner rush in fast food, I've been a manager at multiple places, but there is NO reason someone should wait for 15 minutes on chicken tenders that take 5 minutes to cook. That's unacceptable .
And don't even get me started on the fact that they gave me 4 sauce packets for 10 tenders and 2 large potato wedges AFTER I had asked for extra.
Really beefed it this time, Lee's. I've never been disappointed by y'all but this did it.

Lees is a long time favorite of ours. They provide generous portions, and a consistently great taste. The dining area could use a little refresh, but it is at least clean. The staff are always very friendly and helpful too.
