Black Canyon Restaurant

We have been having lunch more frequently at Black Canyon and we are hooked on the salmon salad. Since Wednesdays are our favorite lunch days, there is also a delightful gumbo which is the soup d'jour. There are lunch entrees and wonderful desserts (including our favorite, Key Lime pie). We haven't made it over for dinner yet but we plan to try it. One of our favorite places in Fort Wayne. We love the cornbread appetizer. I always go back and forth between the ribs and the french dip. Both are amazing. Nice atmosphere for any occasion.

The service was fast friendly, but the food well I'll probably get the chicken tenders next time,one person at the table had that it looked good,one person had the salmon but their was hair in it. I had the fish and chips was not impressed. So next time will probably be better.

First things first, our server John was the best server I have had anywhere in many years!!
He was so attentive. If we needed something he was already getting it. We had 15 people in our party. John gave all of us attention. He made my Birthday special.
Oh the food was great. Double pork chop was juicy and perfectly cooked. The nachos very large and loaded with toppings. Mac and cheese super.
They have Scotch eggs, they were very good.
Horseradish coleslaw is a must get item. The filet was perfect 4 people had this steak, they all raved about it.
This is my new favorite place. You have to try it. They also have a patio area.

Before a dance, my friends and I decided to try Black Canyon for dinner. None of us had ever been before, and I can confidently say we were all pleasantly surprised. For people on a moderate budget who still want to enjoy a big meal in a nice atmosphere, this is the place for you. I ordered a salad, which isn't what I typically get for dinner, but I wanted to make sure I could still squeeze into my dress. The salad was of epic portion for the price, as it was quite filling, delicious, and healthy. I cannot wait to go back again.
