Don Hall's Guesthouse

Dated but nice, newly remodeled. Nice indoor pool area,water was nice and warm, also enjoyed hot tub even though it could be bigger,.(room for four adults).Breakfast was great second to none.Nice bar enjoyed classic rock band they had. Would definitely stay again.

Room was well kept and clean. There is no elevator to the second floor so be ready to carry your luggage if you get a second floor room. Shower was very low pressure. It took me twice as long as usual to shower due to that. I have had stronger water flow from gravity fed camp showers and it wasn't a water pressure issue as the tub filled fast. The free breakfast was quite good better than what you get at most hotels.

This place is absolutely wonderful and the hospitality was fantastic! The staff was excellent, the rooms & amenities were great, and the food & complimentary breakfast buffet was the BEST! A special "Thanks" goes out to Holly (Reservations Manager) and Dawn (Banquet Manager) for making the weekend and rehearsal dinner so special for our families.

Hall's is Hall's which is always friendly, fast and delicious. No matter which one you go to, you get the same level of service and quality. The guesthouse is not different. Other than it being the most needed for updating and proper lighting, the food is yummy and worth the money.

Pros:
The Appetizers were good and brought out to us in a timely manner. We tried the mushrooms, the almond shrimp, and the crab cakes. This part of the meal earned 4/4.5 stars

Cons:
Our entrees took a bit of time to come out and at least for me my steak and broccoli was cold. The steak was cooked perfectly but since it was cold Id have to give that a single star.

Plates...They were really big and the food was not nearly comparable. Lots of open space and not very pleasing to the eye. It also make you feel like you're over paying for the amount of good you get.
