La Fogata Mexican Restaurant

The server was very nice and attentive but the chips tasted burnt , lighting was a little too dark, uncomfortable seating and place lacked a warm or festive feeling .. I really hope the restaurant succeeds because we need a good Mexican restaurant in this area .. get a better sign, warm up the space, get booths and more comfortable seating, and change your oil to make better chips. The food was excellent, however, it did take a bit long for our table of 3's order to come out. Am thinking it may be because one of us ordered a "lengua". When it came out, my brother in law could not stop raving about it! Our food was obviously freshly cooked, and came to the table steaming. I watched another table, and noticed their food was served quickly. Service was very pleasant. We will be going back!

Fantastic. The service is friendly, fast and attentive. The food is the best Mexican I've found at a sit-down restaurant in the Fort Wayne area. And the prices are very reasonable.

New awesome look, same excellent taste! And there's more improvements on the way! Way to excited for this place to look as amazing as I've known for it to be for years... love it!!!
