Marquee at the Landing

This is a new restaurant on the Landing in downtown Fort Wayne. The place is surprisingly big, and tastefully decorated. It looks like they will have a nice patio area for the warmer months as well. The food and service were great. We had the Pork Chop dinner, and the Kimchi Meatloaf. Prices are a little high ($24-34), but you do get what you pay for. Similar to Black Canyon, Summit Grill, Chops, etc. However, they do have other lower priced items on their Bistro menu...around $14=20. They were out of half of their draft beers which is kind of odd, and the mixed drink was not very good. Hopefully, they will figure out the adult beverage side of things soon, as the food is very good. We will be back.

The food was amazing and thoughtful! Many places have higher prices and are not worth the price, but this place is. We had the truffle fries, Valencia salad and burger, and everything was perfect. My only complaint was the TVs that didn’t fit the ambiance at all and were more distracting than anything.

I came here for a large party of my friends for my birthday over the weekend, I am so thankful for the great service! Your staff is super friendly, the food is delicious, and I love the ambiance! Thank you for treating us so well, my friends from out of town were very impressed. I can't wait to visit again.

Stopped by for drinks and dessert the other night, and they were amazing. I had the Native Trees which had a great pop of mint, and the Flower Child was delicious and smoky. The Tres Leches was light and not too heavy. My favorite was the carrot cake. It had what I think were fried carrot curls on top, and the cake was moist with a delicious frosting. A friend ordered the truffle fries, with the truffle aioli, and house made ketchup(a wonderful combination)! I cannot wait to come back for more drinks and dinner.

My wife and I are big fans of the Cunningham group of restaurants. Our favorite of which is Bru Burger. We were excited Cunningham group was opening a restaurant here so we had to try it. The food was very very good. I had a steak salad and it was hands-down the best I have ever had anywhere. This wasn’t just some little piece of sirloin. It was the tenderest steak I’ve ever had in a steak salad in my life. The flavor was off the charts, the greens were clean and crisp and cool. All the ingredients were fresh my wife was very happy with her meal also. We also ordered beers and they came lukewarm. Our server told us that he knew and the restaurant is aware that this is a problem. That was disappointing but it is what it is. We will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu. If you do go here you have got to try their fries. They are always astonishingly good, fresh cut.
