Amazing fried fish and chicken! Hush puppies made and fried right as we watched. You can't get fresher. Lemonade was a pleasant surprise, it was really good. portions so big even my dog got a small bite.

I feel like a moron for putting off getting food from here for so long. I had the fish dinner with two sides. And my girlfriend got the dark meat dinner, so I was able to try the chicken as well.

Let me tell you this truly is homestyle cooking and as good as it gets in town. Not only are the breadings and food stellar. The portions are very large. And even the birds themselves are large. The legs alone were impressive. Everything was cooked to perfection.

We had their mac and their mashed potatoes as our sides. The mac is something special and definitely as a flavor that is uniquely their own. I may have inhaled it essentially. The mashed potatoes were silky smooth and came with a classic gravy. And it came with a square soft dinner roll. I felt like I was a kid again at my grandma's at Christmas dinner or Thanksgiving. And I loved my grandma, but Homeboyz' food is definitely better.

Delicious fish and chicken and awesome home made hush puppies! My husband and I went for late lunch and it was getting close to closing time. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. My husband got the chicken combo (4 chicken wings, 2 sides and a roll) for $9.75 and I got the Fish combo (2 pieces of fish, hush puppies and two sides) for $8.75. Great prices for a wonderful home cooked comfort food meal. The macaroni and cheese and homemade tartar sauce is amazing as well. Drinks are only$1 and though we didn't get dessert the sweet potato pie and Carmel dessert sounded delicious. I Definitely recommend coming here for lunch or dinner.

To put it simply, this is the best damn food in Columbus.
