Caplinger's Fresh Catch Seafood Market

Caplinger's has some of the best seafood in the area. I was shocked that they had alligator on the menu as the last time I was able to have it was in Florida. I remember it being one of the best food items I have ever ate and this place replicated that experience perfectly. They have a lot of great seafood options and otherwise exotic items that you won't find anywhere else. They certainly offer a better experience than other places that offer simple fish options. I highly recommend Caplinger's when you have a craving for seafood. I know it will be my go to place!

This place is very clean. On several visits, we noticed a gentleman we assumed to be the manager, sweeping the floor, wiping down tables, etc. Once when a condiment packet was dropped on the floor, he refused to give it to me citing health regulations. The sides are always great and the food is always fresh.

th the restaurant is very clean and friendly. The very good attention, excelling the education and courtesy. The food is very good although somewhat spicy. I definitely recommend it. The best are the squid… .. exquisite!

My first time here, coming from out of town, and ...wow. Walking in it felt like an upscale Long John Silver's but then I saw the menu. So many types of sea food, way more than I expected! On recommendation of the person accompanying me, I got the special. I ordered corn bread and green beans on the side and was treated to two hush puppies as well. I cannot express how delicious this dish was. It was perfectly cooked and perfectly crispy on the outside. The sides were wonderful but I was surprised by how non-greasy the hush puppies were. They were light and crisp and flavorful! My only complaint? The are better tartar sauce out there. This place was amazing and I'll definitely come back!
