Hoopsters Sports Bar & Grill

I've been a regular at Hoopsters for quite some time now, and I wanted to share everything about how amazing it's become under the new owner. They've managed to update the place without losing the unique charm that made it a local Jeffersonville favorite in the first place. The energy is unmatched, with TVs playing all the sports, trivia nights that bring out your competitive side, live music that’s usually pretty damn good, and karaoke nights that are an absolute blast (either singing yourself or watching others.

The best part is that the food and drinks are still as affordable and delicious as ever, (shout out to Liz!) which means you can have a great time without breaking the bank. It's busier and more fun now, but still with great and quick service, and it’s attracting a diverse crowd that adds to the vibrant atmosphere. If you haven't checked out the changes yet, you're definitely missing out on a good time especially if Casey is working! Make sure to get one of their new margaritas but be warned; they’re both tasty and strong!

Whether you're a sports enthusiast or simply looking for a great place to unwind and enjoy fantastic food and drinks, this revamped sports bar is a definite winner in my book! Recent new owner. The drink menu offers a diverse selection; the margaritas are great. Salads are huge! I recommend the burger and boneless wings.

Whether packed to watch a game on the t.v.'s or only a few patrons, it is better than most bars in the area. No smoking inside, which is nice. Go about once every three to four weeks. Usually Two of us share an appetizer and have a few drinks. They have my liquor of choice. Good drinks. Locally owned & operated. Our Food Favs: Sticky Bites & Philly Chips. Wontons were too spicy for us.

Can be packed at times. No one bothers us. Some patrons eat, some drink, some eat & drink. They made good on one kitchen mishap. Con: Lack of adequate parking.

Update: another kitchen issue; took over thirty minutes to get our food, no crowd yet on a early Friday evening, one dish wasn't right as we are regulars and know what it should be like, we couldn't eat most of it, to keep things cordial we ask for just half off, head bartender who is defensive, finally agreed, we should've got the whole thing off, got sick later in the night from it. It's a shame. Doubtful of our return anytime soon.

Update: pretty descent clean place to go for dinner and a few drinks. Encountered live band playing. No cover. Was nice. Male server was very efficient.
