This is a very small place that serve more traditional Mexican food. They have a very nice atmosphere and friendly staff . There is little inside seating , but plenty of outside seating . They have a limited menu that is very fresh , but portions are small for the price you pay . No free chips and salsa, guacamole is good though . Not really our cup of tea.
upon entering restaurant door we were greeted by our server at the hostess stand. we opted for upstairs dining. this is a vintage house made into a cozy restaurant. outdoor tables available too. our server was friendly and on point. we indulged in their queso and chips, margaritas, tamales, shrimp taco and corn on the cob, all were great yum yum with the exception of the plain margarita tasted like dirty dish water. margarita with strawberry was delicious though. queso and chips didn’t seem as good as other restaurants. highly recommend. we will definitely return.
returned within a week later for early week day dinner. opted again for inside upstairs dining. we appreciated the good service, and the food was great again. chips and queso were way better this time. shrimp taco and tamale were great. all the flavors, quality and textures were excellent. strawberry margarita and curros for dessert were same quality as other items and excellent. we enjoyed the service, atmosphere and meal.
returned again for mid week early dinner. opted for upstairs dine in. air conditioning feels so good. strawberry margarita, chips & queso are enough for two, tamale and shrimp taco were good once again. all flavors are delicious.
Place hit it out of the park. Food was excellent. Rosa came out and talked with us, amazingly friendly and kind. Cannot say anything negative. Definatly a must go on the list. Have found a new taco home.
OMG! Everything about this cute place was fantastic!!! We're from out of town and we're visiting Louisville. We walked across the bridge and decided to get something to eat. Absolutely phenomenal! The taquitos were so flavorful as were the nachos. Wish we were closer, we would definitely be back. The staff were so friendly and wonderful!!! Amazing!
I think the place is fairly new. Stopped in for a beer, chips and guacamole. Best chips within 50 miles for sure and a very large portion. Thick and crsipy, made there if I recall correctly. Not a lot of indoor seating, plenty of room to sit outside under the balcony.
