Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Consistently great food and service. Fun to look at items in the store. Ladies bathroom consistently needs more attention.... in terms of cleanliness and deodorizing.

The eye candy on the walls is a plus for me. I enjoy looking at the locally sourced stuff. The food was so-so. I had country fried steak with macaroni and cheese, hash brown casserole, and coleslaw. The steak was perfect for me but the gravy tasted odd to me. I'm from country stock and have been eating milk gravy all my life and it just tasted funny to me. The macaroni was excellent. The slaw a little too sweet for me. Our server was very good and I wish I could remember her name because she deserves a little recognition. Will I go back? Probably but for breakfast.

This past weekend we had Autumn as our hostess who was very friendly. Matt was our server. We had a table of 7 for my birthday, Matt did an A+ job at getting the order out correct and no one ever had an empty glass. Matt definitely went above and beyond to take care of us. Keep up the great work!

The French toast is wonderful. What really made the morning was our server, Susan. I don't think its possible to have a bad time around her! Food was great as usual, I wish seating was a little different though. I always feel like I'm at the table with strangers because the tables are so close. Good food and great hospitality.

I have been here several times. The food is really great if you love home cooked country food. I have only had one bad experience because of an unfriendly and non accommodating waitress, but the floor manager took care of it and I didn't have to pay a dime. I also didn't have to come forth with the complaint on my own as the floor manager asked on my way out. I love the food here and will continue to come back. I have high hopes that I will not end up with another bad experience.
